Hello, this is the page for year 3
Our teachers are Mrs Williams and Mrs Whitehouse
Clay Heads
In year 3 we have been busy making clay heads.
First we looked at pictures of head sculptures and made a collage of them in our art books.
Then we had a try making heads out of plastiscene.
Next we made our heads using the air drying clay. We needed to use slip to make sure that no pieces would fall off in the drying process. However some still did!
Finally we painted our heads using strong, bold colours.
We hope you like looking at them.
