I have received a communication from the proprietor of the Cwm Talwg public house asking parents to refrain from using the car park to the rear of the pub when bringing children to and from school.  I would be grateful if you would comply with this request.

Please note that the safety of your child is paramount so parents and grandparents must ensure that they keep to the paths and do not cross the school car park when bringing children to school or collecting them. Some people are still crossing the car park and vehicles may not notice them when reversing.  It is important that children are given the right safety messages from an early age.

May I take this opportunity to thank our Parents and Friends Association for another year of hard work and dedication.  Many thanks also for organising yet another Summer Fair.  This event is always extremely popular and successful.  If anyone can spare a little time to help out, the PFA will give a warm welcome to new members.

Voluntary adult helpers make an important contribution to school life in a number of ways. If you can spare any time during your busy schedule to help out, please contact the school.

I would like to thank you all for your continued support and to wish everyone a happy and restful summer and we look forward to an exciting future at All Saints on completion of the building programme and the provision of new classrooms and a brand new IT suite.

Yours sincerely,
